A Guide to Las Vegas' Best Live Music Venues

When I first started to explore Las Vegas, I quickly realized that it is a music lover’s paradise. At Get On In Vegas, we understand how important it is to find the right place for live shows. Our city never lets you down, whether you like big-name concerts on the Strip or hidden gems off Fremont Street. As someone who has spent many nights looking for the best music in town, I’m excited to share my list of Las Vegas live music venues that you won’t want to miss.

What Makes Las Vegas Live Music Venues Special

Las Vegas isn’t just about casinos and nightlife; the music scene there is full of energy and talent. You can find everything from small lounges in downtown Las Vegas to huge arenas near the Strip. I have seen shows in famous places like the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan and the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay. The artists are great, but what really sets these places apart are the electric atmosphere and top-notch sound systems. You can see number-one hits one night and local bands the next, all within a few miles of each other.

Let’s talk about some of my favorite places in Las Vegas to hear live music. The Joint at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas always has great concerts that are a must-see if you want a classic Vegas experience. I remember going to a famous rock show there, and the energy was off the charts. Brooklyn Bowl in the LINQ Promenade is a great place to go for a more relaxed atmosphere. They have great food, bowling, and live music. It’s the kind of place where you can really get lost in the music and the people.

Fremont East is a busy street in downtown Las Vegas that is very popular. The Downtown Las Vegas Events Center is one of many places that host big outdoor concerts that draw people from all over the city. I love how the neighborhood’s old-fashioned charm mixes with modern acts to make a one-of-a-kind setting that you won’t find anywhere else.

Before I go out to Las Vegas live music venues, I always look to see what’s going on at The Smith Center. This place has a huge range of live shows, from Broadway and pop to jazz and classical. The sound quality is great, so every note comes to life. If you’re staying near the Arts District, it’s easy to find bars with up-and-coming artists. This is the perfect place for music lovers who want to hear something new.
